- Confirm power supply termination / connections. If power supply is suspected of inducing noise on the line, disconnect and utilize 2x 9V batteries connected in series as a temporary test measure. This will replicate a 24VDC power signal to the Valcom one-way speakers.

- Confirm installation of an audio isolation transformer between IP/Analog gateway (i.e. VE8004) and speaker runs. There may be a ground loop being induced on the line. A device such as Valcom VMT-2 may resolve this issue.
- Verify that the front panel power LED is illuminated
- Verify network connections, cables, network firewalls, and VLAN port (if configured)
- Scan your PA network with the VIP-102B tool. Does the Application Server show up? Confirm IP address.
- If front panel power LED flashes a single white and three orange lights, you will need to send the application server in for repair
